Eric Knisley has been creating content for dome

projection systems for nearly fifteen years. His background includes extensive work with the Elumens corporation on the development of their VisionDome projection system, with special attention to content creation methodology. His work for Elumens took him all over the world, from museums in Taipei to video art installations in New York to flight simulators in India. He has also worked in animated and real-time content for scientific visualization, entertainment, marketing and many other areas. His areas of expertise include 3D modeling and animation, design, immersive projection systems hardware and software, audio engineering, audio environments and music. He’s also an award-winning cartoonist, illustrator and photographer.

Mike Conway is a general software developer with core skills in Java and .Net, as well as C++, Ruby on Rails, and multiple other languages.  Mike has done web development, client-server development, and mobile development in diverse settings.

Mike is in charge of the Social Computing Room at the RENCI@UNC engagement center.
